You might be wondering what Pressed Olives  means.  I am so glad you asked.

As Christians we aren't called to comfort, to safety, or to relaxation. Being a Christian means we do hard things.  We are obedient to whatever the Lord asks of us.  How we do that is through pressing. 

We press into the presence of God and press into intimacy and relationship with Jesus Christ.

"I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 3:14

We push past our convenience and comfort and ensure relationship by setting aside our wants and desires.

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but i press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me." 

philippians 3:12

Our roots expanding beyond our current territory, pressing out of our comfort zones.  We must press deeper into the Lord's character so we can experience growth, peace, and taste true fulfillment.  We do this by abiding in Jesus.
