What are you thinking?

2 Chronicles 29
There were burnt offerings in abundance, together with the fat of the fellowship offerings and the drink offerings that accompanied the burnt offerings. So the service of the temple of the Lord was reestablished. Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced at what God had brought about for his people, because it was done so quickly.
2 Chronicles 29:35-36 NIV
We get to see how Hezekiah was able to reopen the temple doors. He got everything cleaned up and back in order. He wanted to make a covenant with the Lord so he would not be angry with Israel. We see Israel fall away from God and then come back.
I have had times when I wasn’t always doing the right things or thinking the right things. It sometimes gets really hard to get out of a negative mindset. It seems like it’s way easier to create a better physical habit than it is to create a better mental habit. It’s easier for me to create a habit of exercising 3 days a week than it is for me to think more positively. I still struggle with this. I have realized that when my thoughts aren’t very great, it is because I am not in God’s word like I should. I have to take the time to deprioritize my life and put God's word first. When I do that, everything else falls in line.

Lord thank you for constantly reminding me how much I need you. Help me remain still so that I can soak in your word. Thank you for helping me keep you number one. In Jesus' name Amen
