The Light Has Dawned

ISAIAH 60
Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh ’s glory now streams from you!
Isaiah 60:1 TPT
Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord ]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you.
Isaiah 60:1 AMP
What a brilliant verse.
I have sat with and meditated on this verse for quite a few days. No words came. Just illumination.
Then I realized in the very next chapter are these words:
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
Isaiah 61:1-2a NKJV
The same words Jesus preached in the synagogue in Luke 4:18-19 and closed with this:
Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” So all bore witness to Him, and marveled at the gracious words which proceeded out of His mouth. And they said, “Is this not Joseph’s son?”
Luke 4:20-22 NKJV

Today that Light has Dawned on us.
And so sorry but one more spoiler alert…. Because I can’t seem to separate the 2 chapters.
For as the earth brings forth its bud, As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
Isaiah 61:11 NKJV

This scripture is so reassuring to me. It’s a principle that can’t be negated, much like gravity, God’s promises cannot be undone. Just like Isaiah prophesied the Light dawning and sewed the seed. Jesus’s declaration of Isaiah’s prophecy being fulfilled in their presence is the Light springing forth.
Prayer: I am so grateful for your promises God, I’m grateful too for the reassurance that every single one of your sewn promises will spring forth and bud. You are so amazing. I love You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.
